About L'Atelier Creative Shop

L’Atelier Creative Shop grows from the philosophy of L’Atelier School, founded in Miami in 1995. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia educational approach, the school believes that children are born with an innate creative intelligence and a natural curiosity to explore and understand the world.

At L’Atelier, children’s ideas, drawings, and explorations are treated as meaningful forms of knowledge. Many of the designs in the shop originate from these creative projects, where colors, words, and materials become tools for imagination and expression.

Through the Creative Club, children from both L’Atelier School and the wider community participate in creative explorations that inspire new collections. Each piece reflects a dialogue between education, creativity, and design — a reminder that everyone can discover and express their own creative voice.

The Creative Club

At L’Atelier, creativity begins with children.

The Creative Club is a space where students explore ideas freely — drawing, writing, imagining, and experimenting with their own artistic voices. From playful sketches to unexpected phrases, their work captures the spontaneity and imagination that only children can create.

Some of these creations are transformed into wearable pieces, allowing their creativity to live beyond the classroom. Each design reflects the authenticity of a child’s perspective — imperfect, expressive, and full of life.

Through the Creative Club, we celebrate the belief that creativity should be shared, worn, and experienced.
